Hoosick Falls-Linda Lou (Jones) Hall, 77, formerly of Berlin and a resident of Hoosick Falls since 2012, died peacefully, Thursday, November 13, 2025 at the Hoosick Falls Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation following a long illness.
Born in Hoosick Falls, October 27, 1948, Linda was the daughter of the late Ralph C. and Margie (Yerton) Jones.
Linda was a graduate of Berlin High School.
In addition to being an amazing homemaker and raising her family, she was employed as a school bus driver by the Berlin Central School District. For over 30 years she was entrusted with safe transportation of children to school each morning and returning them home at the end of the day. Linda retired in 2001.
Linda was wonderful baker and created many beautiful wedding cakes for family and friends to be enjoyed on their special day. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting, scarves, blankets, hats and booties for many family members friends and newborns. She was an avid yard sale participant and liked to go camping, especially to Arlington, VT.
Linda is survived by her children, Allison J. Hall Jr. of Pownal, VT, Mark A. and Marianne Hall of Berlin, Terry J. and Barbara Hall of Berlin, and Jennifer A. Hall and Derek Rice of Texas, a sister, Hattie M. Buck of Berlin, ten grandchildren, Meagan Trembly, Trevar Hall, Justin Hall, Melinda Hall, Zachary Hall, Patrick Hall, Gabrielle Hall, Corey Hall, Walter Crandall, and Linda Crandall, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by a son, Jody L. Hall, a brother, John P. Jones and a sister, Anne Marie Warner.
At her request a graveside service for Linda will be held at Meadowlawn Cemetery in Petersburgh on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Trygg Tomlinson, pastor of the West Stephentown Baptist Church officiating.
Memorial contributions if desired may be made to the Berlin Fire Department, 11 Community Avenue, Berlin, NY 12022 in memory of Linda L. Hall.
