Milton Earl Bulson, age 82 , a long-time resident of Grafton, New York, passed away on February 15, 2026, at Samaritan Hospital in Troy. He fought a long-time illness with strength and resilience. He passed away knowing he was loved and cherished by his family and friends. He is now at peace and is in the loving arms of his lifelong love, Janice Mary (Teal) Bulson and his only son Daniel Milton Bulson.
Milt was born on January 6, 1944, at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, NY. He was fortunate to be born and raised in a household with loving parents and 10 siblings. His parents, Edith Pearl and Ira G. Bulson, his brothers, Wayne Bulson Sr. (deceased), Glenn I. Bulson, James Bulson, and Lewis Bulson. His sisters, Iris Van Buren (deceased), Jeanine Wood (deceased), Arlene Bonnor (deceased), Lynn Tozzi (deceased). Sharon Feldmaier and Dawn Bell.
Milton joined the Army in May 1961, ranking as PVT E1 with a specialty as a Lineman and as a Marksman. He returned from overseas in May of 1964 with an honorable discharge and medals commencing his service to his country. He pursued a few careers in his younger years in Construction, Tree services, and CDL Truckdriver. But for forty plus years, he worked as a plant manager down at the Port of Rensselaer where he retired from Sprague Energy Company at the age of 67.
On May 28, 1966, Milt married the love of his life Janice Mary (Teal) Bulson, they had two children, Debbie Bulson-Matthews, and Daniel Milton Bulson (deceased). Later in life he had five grandchildren whom he adored, Christina M. Littlejohn, Daniel R. Bulson, Amanda P. (Morgan) Littlejohn, Dylan P. Littlejohn, and Adam E. Bulson. Following with 5 Great Children, who he also absolutely adored, Gavin M. Mossey, Lucas J. Bulson, Miles M. Morgan, Fia M. Morgan and newly arrived Hayden J. Bulson. Not only did Milt enjoy and love his children and grandchildren, but he also loved and admired his son-in-law David J. Matthews’ husband to (Debbie Bulson-Matthews), Shauna Sauer fiancé to (Adam Bulson) Kayla Reuss partner in life to (Daniel R. Bulson). Kristen Herrington partner in life to (Dylan Littlejohn), Nick Morgan husband to Amanda (Littlejohn) Morgan.
Milt was a hardworking man, who taught his children and many other children who are considered family, the value of a good work ethic, as well as the value of family. He enjoyed simplicity, the comfort of his home, grilling sausage and steak, watching a New York Yankees game, especially when they won, and time with his family and friends. He always had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed many years of hunting, camping and big old bonfires. He was also a true craftsman and had a remarkable talent for creating such extraordinary pieces of work that brought many smiles to many people.
Relatives and friends are invited to join us at Howard B. Tate & Sons Funeral Home Inc 2237 New York Route 7 located in Raymertown on Saturday February 21, 2026, from 2-4pm.
