East Greenbush- Wanda Bulson, 73, a longtime resident of Troy, died peacefully Monday, November 10, 2025 at the Evergreen Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in East Greenbush following a short illness with her family by her side.

Born in Troy, December 19, 1951, she attended Troy City Schools as a girl and was a graduate of Troy High School.

After graduating she married Robert J. Bulson Jr. in 1971 and the couple established their home and started their family. For many years she was a homemaker who was a wonderful cook and enjoyed caring for her family and home. On January 14, 1997 she became a single mom and her world was changed following the death of her husband, Bob. Wanda continued to care for her family while working as a waitress to help make ends meet. While working she met her partner and best friend, Alfonso with whom she enjoyed more than 28 years of friendship and caring for each other. In her quiet time, she enjoyed the hobbies and pastimes of knitting hats, scarves and blankets for her family and playing BINGO when the opportunity came along.

Wanda is survived by her children, Robert J. Bulson III of Petersburgh, John J. (Veronica) Bulson of Johnstown, and Kandi L. (Andrew) Bulson of Averill Park, her long-time partner and best friend, Alfonso Bedoya of Troy, five grandchildren, Robert J. Bulson IV and Amber Bulson both of Petersburgh, John J. Bulson II of Johnstown, Skylar A. McDougal and Andrew E. Sweenor Jr., both of Averill Park, and a great grandson, John J. Bulson III of Johnstown. In addition to her husband, Robert, Wanda was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, the late Nicole (Dandaneau) Bulson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside ceremony and committal service for Wanda on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bulson Family Cemetery, located on the Bulson Family Farm, Bulson Road in Brunswick. At her request there will be no public calling.

Memorial contributions if desired may be made to Community Hospice of Rensselaer County, 295 Valley View Blvd., Rensselaer, NY 12144 in memory of Wanda Bulson.
