Hoosick Falls – Anne A. (Anyzek) Kuebler, 100, a long-time resident of the Town of Hoosick, died quietly, on Monday, June 29, 2015, at the Hoosick Falls Health Center.
Born in Bunker Hill, West Virginia, Mrs. Kuebler was the daughter of the late Philip and Catharine Anyzek, and for over 50 years the wife of the late Arnold H. Kuebler Sr., who predeceased her in 1996.
Anne was a high school graduate from New York City. After high school, she found employment as a housekeeper for a family, and fell in love with their chauffeur, Arnold. After marrying, she and Arnold relocated to the Town of Hoosick were she was content to care for her own home, husband and children, and found pleasure in gardening.
Mrs. Kuebler is survived by a son, Richard (Faith) Kuebler of Town of Hoosick and a daughter, Katherine (Steve) Roby of Shushan, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and late husband, Mrs. Kuebler was also predeceased by a son, Arnold H. Kuebler Jr. and two daughters, Nancy Terhune and Lucy Bump.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service for Mrs. Kuebler beginning at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at the Warren Cemetery in Boyntonville. At Mrs. Kuebler’s request there will be no calling hours.
