
Boyntonville - Arthur “Art” E. Seror, 70, a lifelong resident of Boyntonville, died Wednesday, August 27, 2014.
Born in Pittstown, August 20, 1944, Art was the son of the late Arthur J. and Elizabeth (Brock) Seror and for over 18 years the
husband of Kathleen (Murtha) Seror of Boytonville who survives.
Art attended the Groveside District School. He enjoyed working out doors and throughout his adult life worked as a self employed logger, owning and operating KMS Logging in Boyntonville. He retired in 2004.
A very “social” guy, Art enjoyed playing the guitar and singing, visiting with family and friends, gardening and “going antiquing.”
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Marinda Seror of Vermont, Lucinda Seror of Grafton, Scott Morey of Boyntonville and Kristie
Morey of Johnsonville, two brothers, Jim Seror of Pittstown, Charles Seror of Tennessee, four grandchildren, Shaun Morey, Ryan Morey, Mylah Morey and T.J. Seror, brothers and sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2014, at 7:00 P.M. at the Howard B. Tate & Son Funeral Home Inc., located at 2237, NY
Route 7 in Raymertown. Burial in Warren Cemetery will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 4:00-6:45 P.M. on Tuesday prior to the service.
