Melrose- Austin C. Subcleff, 83, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 23, 2024, in the comfort of his home with his loving family by his side following a short illness.

Most recently he was employed for over 20 years as a truck driver by Warren E. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and watching his grandson Dylan racing stock cars at Lebanon Valley Speedway. In recent years he took a memorable family trip to the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, which is still the subject of many family stories. He as well had many adventures with his buddy Paul Campbell, as the Town of Pittstown Dog and Animal Control Officer.
