Waterford- Christopher T. Lockrow, 28, “American by Birth, Patriot by Choice’ of Third Ave. succumbed to injuries on August 9, 2023 resulting from an auto-motorcycle accident on the Hoosick Road in Brunswick.
Born in Troy, Christopher was the beloved son of Dwane T. and Liza Fontaine Lockrow of Stillwater. Christopher grew up in Stillwater and attended the Stillwater schools where he played football. Chris worked for MAX BMW in Troy before joining Warren W. Fane Trucking in Melrose where he was the truck shop supervisor. He had worked there for the past three years. Chris was a loyal Harley Davidson rider and enjoyed dirt biking. Chris had an extreme passion for reflection while fishing. He was a member of the MBK motorcycle Club in Vermont and had extreme love and loyalty to his family and friends. “Lockrow Heart & Strength.”
Survivors in addition to his parents include his beloved companion Courtney May and her children Liam and Elena, whom Chris thought of as his own, his brother Brett Lockrow of Mechanicville, his niece Lea Lockrow his beloved Aunt Linda Bailey along with several other Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Christopher was the grandson of the late Robert and Genevieve Lockrow and the late James and Elizabeth Fontaine.
A Funeral Service for Christopher will be held at 10 am, Thursday August 17, 2023, at the Gilead Lutheran Church, 308 Brick Church Road Center Brunswick, NY.
Calling hours will be held at the Gilead Lutheran Church 3-7 pm on Wednesday August 16, 2023.
The family suggest donations be made to the Go Fund Me account in the name of Chris Lockrow. This account will be used to help Courtney and her children.
