Troy- Constance M. (Belcher) Anders, 76, of Mechanicville, died peacefully Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Samaritan Hospital in Troy following a short illness.
Born in Troy, June 23, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Ronald and Alice (Koch) Belcher and the wife of the late Robert Anders, who predeceased her.
Mrs. Anders was a graduate of Averill Park High School and a homemaker for many years.
In addition to raising her family and caring for her home, she enjoyed the hobbies of crafting and jigsaw puzzles. She was active in the social groups in her church in Mechanicville and this past summer enjoyed a week long bus trip to Bar Harbor, ME, with her church friends.
Mrs. Anders is survived by her children, Ronald E. Koch and Stacielei Thrane, Karl and Gretchen Koch, and Patricia and Gordon Rifenburgh, all of Johnsonville, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service for Mrs. Anders will be held on Monday, January 11, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. at the Howard B. Tate and Son Funeral Home Inc., 2237 NY Route 7, located in Raymertown. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday from 3-4:00 p.m. prior to the service. Proper face masks and social distancing in accordance with the current NYS Health Department COVID-19 guidelines will be required of all attendees.
Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the Mohawk and Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, NY 12204, in memory of Constance M. Anders.
