Cropseyville- George A. Estabrooks, 64, a longtime resident of Cropseyville, (Town of Brunswick) died suddenly Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, following a short illness.
Born in Troy, October 13, 1951, George was the son of Carolyn (Davis) Estabrooks of Troy and the late John Estabrooks, and for over 44 years, the beloved husband and best friend of Barbara J. (Lloyd) Estabrooks of Cropseyville.
In addition to his wife and mother, George is survived by his brothers, Frank and Jay and sisters, Nanson and Carrie.
At the request of the family request, there will be no calling or services at this time but rather a Life Celebration of George, to be held later this fall, at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the
Mohawk and Hudson Rivers Humane Society, 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, New York 12204 in memory of George A. Estabrooks.
