John, a graduate of Cornell University, worked his family farm for over 60 years. His love for farming started at a young age growing up on his parents’ dairy farm. In addition to his love of farming, John enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, grandnieces and grandnephews, with whom he shared his love of showing dairy cattle. During youth shows at county fairs, you could find him giving them his boisterous, louder than life pointers from the sidelines.
