Cropseyville- Kathleen (Hoodack) Kaschak passed away unexpectedly on November 10, 2017, at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, NY. She was 56 years young.
Born in Troy, June 19, 1961, she was the loving wife, best friend, and soulmate of Edward Kaschak for 35 years. Kathleen was the devoted daughter of the late Jeanne and Joseph Hoodack of Troy.
Kathy is survived by her brother, Lawrence (Mary) Hoodack, mother-in-law, Rose (late Alec) Kaschak, brother-in-law, Robert (Kellie) Kaschak, sister-in-law, Dorothy Kaschak, many nieces, nephews, great- nieces, great-nephews, and beloved adopted daughter Andrea Bosko. Her fur babies Boudie and Millie will miss her dearly.
Kathy was a 1979 graduate of Tamarac High School. She was retired from the New York State Department of Audit and Control.
She loved traveling. Her adventures led to St. Martin, New Zealand, all over the U.S., and especially to her happy place of Willow, Alaska. Friends and family were always waiting for the next installment of her antics……..from being Daisy Duke to Fruit Loops…..Aye.
She enjoyed laughter and making others happy. Kathy was the most kind person. She had a heart of gold. She could bring a smile to anyone’s face and had the best laugh. She would do anything for anyone and was always there when needed. Kathy was everyone’s cheerleader.
May her spirit rise over the rainbow and we all meet again on the other side. We raise our glass to you, until we meet again.
“so long for now my love” - Ed. p.s. the ducks were in the pool today.
