Troy- Lisa M. Fowler, 54, of Troy, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy.
Born October 29, 1962 in Albany, Lisa was one of five beautiful daughters born to Paul R. and Vera (Miaski) Fowler.
She was a graduate of Shaker High School and for over 10 years a piecework production assitant at The Workshop Inc., in Menands.
Lisa was a Born Again Christian and her love for the Lord was evident to all who knew her. She was very proud to speak of and bring others to Christ. She attended Faith and Love Fellowship in East Greenbush and was a member of “WOW” Women of Worth. She enjoyed attending Church, reading the Bible, listening to gospel music, watching Christian based movies on television and spending time with her family and friends.
Lisa was a joy to all who knew her. Even as she struggled with the knowledge she was dying, she kept a positive outlook and was more concerned for others than for herself. One of Lisa’s greatest legacies will be that she brought her family closer together in a way that it hadn’t been in a while, so thank you Lisa! You will be in out hearts forever.
Lisa is survived by her father, Paul R. Fowler and his wife, Caryll Fowler of Saratoga Springs, her sisters, Beth Cipperley (John) of Pittstown, Lori Bloomer (Jim) of Stuart, FL, Judy Fowler of Troy, Kim Howe of Cohoes, and Jami Ortung (Tom) of Sammamish, WA, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, her dear friend, Ann Pendergast, as well as many other friends.
