Grafton- Mildred M. (Ruff) Crandall, 97, a longtime resident of Cropseyville and more recently Van Rensselaer Manor, died peacefully, Thursday, June 17, 2021, at Samaritan Hospital in Troy following a short illness.
Born in Troy, November 9, 1923, Mrs. Crandall was the daughter of the late Frank and Theresa (Weingartner) Ruff and the wife of the late Benjamin H. Crandall.
Mrs. Crandall was a homemaker for many years in her Grafton residence and in her quiet time enjoyed going for Sunday drives with her late husband.
She was a communicant of the former St. John Francis Regis Roman Catholic Church in Grafton.
Mrs. Crandall is survived by a daughter, Debra Beaudry, and a grandson, Jeffrey Beaudry, both of Grafton. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by a sister and brother-in-law, the late Marion and Donald Plante, and a brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Joan Ruff of Troy.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service for Mrs. Crandall on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Eagle Mills Cemetery in Brunswick. There will be no public visitation.
